The capturing of black teenager Trayvon Martin by a US neighbourhood watchman sparked a heated debate about racial profiling and using deadly power.

That case is destined to remain within the public eye after hip-hop mogul Jay Z purchased the rights to 2 books concerning the 17-year-old’s demise in 2012.

Variety reports that he has teamed up with producer Harvey Weinstein to make a six-part documentary concerning the case.

In response to Selection, there are additionally plans to make a story characteristic movie.
